If you find that a user is experiencing issues with accessing a server via RDP/Citrix as their terminal server license has expired, its most likely that they were using a temporary license.
If you believe that you have enough licenses, follow the below to resolve the issue:
1) Click start and run
2) Type regedit and click ok
3) Expand HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
4) Expand Software
5) Expand Microsoft
6) Rename the folder MSLicensing to MSLicensing.old
Ask the user to test again. A new folder named MSLicensing will be created.
Please be careful when editing the registy. Make a backup in case issues arise. If unsure, please get in touch with someone who knows what their doing.
