In this blog post, I will go through the process of locating the section within the 365 Admin portal which shows you which country Microsoft stores your data. As part of Microsoft transparency principles, Microsoft publish the location where ‎Microsoft stores your content.

Let’s get started

1. Logon to the 365 admin center (portal.office.com)
2. Click Admin

3. Click Show all

4. Click Settings and then Org settings

5. Click Organization profile

6. Locate and click Data location

Data location for my tenant is shown below
