When you attempt to extend a disk you receive the below error:

Error: there is not enough space available on the disk(s) to complete this operation

Possible Resolution:

1) Right click my computer
2) Click Manage
3) Expand storage
4) Click Disk management and wait for it to load
5) Right click disk management and click rescan disks
6) Extend the disk again
