If you receive the above error when trying to launch an app or desktop using Citrix Metaframe server 4.0 and you have already recreated the local cache etc, try the below:
1) Click Start
2) Click Programs
3) Click Citrix
4) Click Administration Tools
5) Click Citrix Connection Configuration Tool
6) Doule click ICA-TCP
7) If an error appears stating ‘the network adapter no longer exists, select the correct one below ‘lan adapter’ and click OK to save
8.) Test again
