To create a new mail group within Lotus Notes, follow the instructions below:
1) Open Domino Admin
2) Click the tab labelled people and groups
3) Expand Domino directories
4) Expand “Company” Address Book
5) Click Groups
6) Click add group
7) Complete group details as required
8.) Click save and close

Hi All,
Being new on this blog, hope you will be indulgent.
My issue is on Lotus Notes 8.5 : I have several Group of contacts. When email using the Group name it appears that everyone in the group receive my email with all email address constituying the Group.
For exemple Groupe Name is GROUP1
GROUP1 is composed by xxx@aol.com, identification@yahoo.com….
I expect both to receive my email with GROUP1 as destanaries but they get xxx@aol.com, identification@yahoo.com
How can I prevent this ?

Hi Maurice, just to confirm:
You have created a group name which includes two email addresses, both external addresses.
When you send an email to the group name, both recipients receive the email but it shows the email was sent to the individual emails and not the group name.
You want the recipients to see the group name so they can not see other email addresses.
Is this correct?
