File Zilla – ECONNABORTED Connection Aborted

1) When you use FTP to connect you receive the below error:

ECONNABORTED Connection Aborted

Disabling Passive Mode on File Zilla client helped get past this error

2) Open File Zilla Client
3) Click Edit and Settings
4) Expand Connection
5) Click FTP and on the right pane change from Passive to Active
6) Test again

  1. Hi. Thank you for the tip. Do you know difference between Passive and active mode? All FTP clients has them but I don’t know when to use each
