If you find that after enabling the above policy, local profiles do not always delete when a user logs off, you could try the below:
1) Right click the share where the profiles are located
2) Click properties
3) Click the sharing tab
4) Click offline settings or caching
5) Enable ‘Files or programs from the share will not be available offline’
You could also push out UPHclean via group policy. This tool is free and helps in speed up the process when logging on/off and also helps release profiles if they become locked. For more details, see: UPHClean
