If you come across an issue where a blank page appears when you try accessing the Windows update site. Try the below:
1) Click start
2) Click run
3) Type cmd
4) Type each of the below command, pressing enter after each one:
regsvr32 jscript
regsvr32 vbscript
regsvr32 /i mshtml
