The Bing search engine suffered an outage for nearly 30 minutes in the early hours of December 3rd 2009.

Microsoft statement said the outage was caused by a “configuration change” made to the site during testing.

What are your thoughts about such outage, especially from a company like Microsoft who promote and sell services such as Windows Clustering, disaster recovery etc.

It shows that even the biggest companies make mistakes.
